Endometrial cancer consultation rapid literature review

The VICS’ first consultation to focus specifically on unwarranted variations in endometrial cancer care and outcomes began in mid-2024.

The VICS Optimal Care Summits program involves a mixed-methods strategic consultation approach, including the preparation of a rapid literature review.

The aim of this literature review was to explore the known patterns of endometrial cancer care and what strategies have been used to determine and address unwarranted variations. Effectiveness of these strategies to address issues in the endometrial cancer context were also investigated.

This review will inform identification and prioritisation of unwarranted variations in endometrial cancer care and outcomes to be discussed at a live summit event on 22 November 2024: See our project record for updates on the consultation.
