Development of an optimal care pathway for adolescents and young adults with cancer
PICS led a national, multi-site collaboration to inform the best approach for adolescents and young adults (AYA) with a cancer diagnosis in Australia.
The 7-step optimal care pathway (OCP) defines practice across the care continuum – including treatment, surveillance, and survivorship care. It is specific to this sub-population and accompanies the tumour-specific optimal care pathways already developed and published by Cancer Australia.
