Designed by fertility and oncology experts from the Royal Women’s and Royal Children’s hospitals, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, the Australian-first Fertility After Cancer offers cancer patients targeted information on how to preserve their fertility before starting treatment.

Cancer and cancer treatment can affect fertility. There are several safe and effective fertility preservation (oncofertility) options available.

This suite of oncofertility resources can assist health providers to explain complex medical scenarios, increase patient knowledge and understanding, overcome barriers associated with low health literacy variation, improve the patient experience by better understanding, and increase the opportunity for family members and carers to be better informed and involved in the decision-making process.
